Jeanne Willis

Jeanne Willis (born 1959 in London) is a children’s author and screenwriter. Her first picture book was published by Andersen Press when she was 21, and she has since published more than 300 children’s books. Her awards include the Silver Medal Smarties Prize for “Tadpole’s Promise”, the Sheffield Children’s Book Award for “Who’s in the Loo” and the Red House Children’s Book Award for “Bottoms Up”. Before becoming a writer, she worked as a cowboy-boot salesperson and aspired to become a reptile vet.
