Jane Rogoyska

Jane Rogoyska studied languages and film at the universities of Cambridge, Leeds and Łódź. Her work focused on exile and the history of twentieth-century Europe, particularly the period from the 1930s to the beginning of the Cold War. She was the author of, among other works, “Surviving Katyń,” about the Soviet secret police massacre of Polish prisoners of war in spring 1940, and the first English-language biography of war photographer Gerda Taro.
