Ira Schneider

Ira Schneider (born in 1976) worked as a freelance journalist and photographer. She wrote cookbooks and features about regional specialties and photographed food. Her publications include the “Küchenklassiker” cookbook series, published by Wartberg Verlag. For her books and articles, she visited producers, processors, and restaurateurs in various regions of Germany. From 2010 onward, she also photographed the chef Jean-Marie Dumaine. The two shared a commitment to the Slow Food association.
