Ilaria Tuti

Ilaria Tuti is an Italian author. As a child, she wanted to become a photographer, but later studied economics. Before becoming a writer, she worked, among other things, as an illustrator for a small Italian publishing house. Her thriller debut, *Eiskalte Hölle*, and her second novel, *Bitterkalter Tod*, are set in northeastern Italy, where she grew up. Tuti has a particular passion for the mountains and enjoys painting.
