Hugh Howey

Hugh Howey (born 1975) worked as a skipper, boatbuilder, roofer and bookseller before becoming a successful novelist. He gained international recognition with the dystopian science-fiction thriller “Wool,” first published independently. “Wool,” “Shift” and “Dust” form a widely translated trilogy.
