Horst Grobe

Horst Grobe, born in 1944, studied German and English philology, philosophy, and general linguistics in Bonn. In 1966–67, he worked as a foreign-language assistant in Great Britain. After completing his teacher training in Aachen, he worked in various roles in secondary education in North Rhine-Westphalia from 1969 onward. He received a doctorate in philosophy from Ruhr University Bochum in 1993.
