Herbert Renz-Polster

Herbert Renz-Polster (born 1960) is a pediatrician, scientist, and author. He completed parts of his medical training and research work in the United States before continuing in Germany. His books and other publications focus primarily on child development, parenting, and family issues. Among his best-known works are *Kinder verstehen*, *Mit Herz und Klarheit*, and *Wie Kinder heute wachsen*. Renz-Polster is the father of four adult children and the grandfather of three grandchildren.
