Hendrik Groen

Hendrik Groen is the pseudonym of Dutch librarian Peter de Smet (born 1954). He became known for his fictional diaries »Eierlikörtage« and »Tanztee«, both of which were named Book of the Year in the Netherlands. The books were published in numerous countries and adapted, among other formats, as a television series and a stage play. Groen also published further novels, including »Herrenabend«.
