Helmuth Santler

Helmuth Santler was born in Villach, Carinthia, in 1964. After completing secondary school, he moved to Vienna and studied journalism and ethnology. He first worked as a freelance journalist, later overseeing two ecological magazines, and then worked as an online editor. From 2001 onward, he was self-employed as a “Textmaker” and increasingly focused on the publishing and book sector. Santler published books of his own, including The Un-Holy Scripture and The Book of Miracles, and also worked as a translator, editor, and proofreader. He was also active as a book reviewer. He received his first payment as an author at the age of eight for a story titled “A Raindrop Tells Its Story.”
