Helmut Zierl

Helmut Zierl is a German actor who has worked in theater, film, and television. After training at the Hildburg Frese Acting Studio in Hamburg (1972–1975), he performed at the Landesbühne Hannover and Hamburg’s Thalia Theater. He became known for numerous television roles, including appearances in the series “Tisch und Bett,” “Zoff und Zärtlichkeit,” “Nesthocker – Familie zu verschenken,” and “Familie Sonnenfeld.” He also appeared several times in the crime series “Tatort” and in series such as “Der Alte.” His film and television credits include “Amok,” “Auf schmalem Grat,” “Der Vulkan,” and “Honig im Kopf.”
