Prof. Dr. Helmut Neuhaus is a German historian. From 1989 to 2009, he held the Chair of Modern History I at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. From 2006 to 2018, he served as secretary of the Historical Commission at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities. He is emeritus.
