Helga Lutz (born 1965) is an art historian and professor of modern and contemporary art history as well as historical visual studies at Bielefeld University. Her research interests include image-text relations, textile design in illuminated manuscripts, the Bauhaus, and the work of Harun Farocki. Her publications include the essays “Bauhaus-Remix” (2019) and “Linie und Faden. Text- und Bordürengestaltung in illuminierten Handschriften des 15. und 16. Jahrhunderts” (2018).
