Heinz Rudolf Kunze

Heinz Rudolf Kunze (born 1956) is a German rock musician, singer-songwriter, composer, lyricist, author, and translator. He studied German and philosophy in Münster and Osnabrück. His first album, “Reine Nervensache,” was released in 1981, and “Dein ist mein ganzes Herz” became one of his biggest successes. In addition to numerous albums, Kunze published books, essays, and children’s songs, and wrote German librettos for musicals including “Les Misérables,” “Miss Saigon,” “Joseph,” and “Rent.” His honors include the Goldene Stimmgabel music award and the State Prize of Lower Saxony.
