Heiko Wolz

Heiko Wolz, born in 1977, initially worked as a bookseller and later at a residential home for people with intellectual disabilities. He subsequently published numerous novels and stories for children, young adults, and adults. His children’s book *Allein unter Superhelden* was nominated for the Oldenburg Children’s and Young People’s Book Prize in 2013. Wolz received, among other distinctions, the Literature Grant of the Free State of Bavaria and was nominated for the Oldenburg Young People’s Book Prize and the 2022 Lese-Kicker award. He is the father of four children.
