Heiko Ruprecht is a German actor and voice artist. He became known in part for his role as Hans Gruber in the ZDF television series “Der Bergdoktor.” After several years working under director Dieter Dorn at the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Bavarian State Theatre, he appeared at numerous German-language theatres. His roles have included Faust in Goethe’s “Urfaust” at the Heidelberg Castle Festival, Richard III at the State Theatre Karlsruhe, C. G. Jung in Christopher Hampton’s “The Method” at Hamburg’s Ernst Deutsch Theatre, and Aaron in Shakespeare’s “Titus Andronicus” at Schauspiel Essen. He also appeared in “Transit,” based on Anna Seghers’s novel, at Schauspielhaus Bochum and at the Schauspielbühnen Stuttgart. For Bayerischer Rundfunk, he worked as a voice artist for features and documentaries.
