Hasan Merali

Hasan Merali studied medicine at Harvard University and public health at Johns Hopkins University. As an associate professor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario, he focused his research on injury prevention among children in low-income countries. He published more than 25 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and his research was covered by outlets including Science, NBC, CBC, and The New York Times.
