Hartmut Schickert

Hartmut Schickert (1950–2008) was a scholar of German and English studies. He worked as a nonfiction editor for well-known German-language publishers and later as a freelance author and translator. With Birgit Brandau, he wrote *Hethiter. Die unbekannte Weltmacht* (2001). One of his last publications was *Troia. Wie es wirklich aussah* (2004), co-written with Peter Jablonka.
