Harry Rowohlt (1945–2015) was a German author, translator, reciter, columnist and occasional actor. He translated more than 100 books from English into German and became known for his column “Poohs Corner” in the German weekly Die Zeit. His own works include “John Rock oder der Teufel” and “Der Kampf geht weiter! Nicht weggeschmissene Briefe”. He also published numerous audiobooks and recorded readings, including adaptations of Kenneth Grahame’s “The Wind in the Willows”, Laurence Sterne’s “Tristram Shandy” and stories by Kurt Vonnegut.
