Hanns Frericks

Hanns Frericks, born in Stuttgart in 1944, studied philosophy, German studies and political science in Cologne and Tübingen. Until his retirement in 2008, he was a subject coordinator for German and head of a division at the State Seminar for Didactics and Teacher Education (BS) in Stuttgart. He also served for many years as chair of the curriculum commission for ethics at vocational secondary schools. His publications cover ethics, ethics education, German studies, the teaching of German and the teaching of philosophy.
