Hanno Rauterberg

Hanno Rauterberg (born 1967) is an art historian with a doctorate and a journalist. He initially worked for the SPIEGEL publishing group and later served as an art and architecture critic and editor in the features section of the weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT. His work there addressed architecture, urban development and city planning, and he was deputy head of the features section. His doctoral dissertation examined the competition reliefs created in Florence in 1402, a landmark dispute in the history of artistic taste. Rauterberg has published several books and became a member of the Free Academy of Arts in Hamburg in 2007.
