Hanni Geiger

Hanni Geiger earned her doctorate at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. She studied fashion design in Zagreb as well as art history and intercultural communication in Munich. Her professional experience included work at LMU Munich’s Institute of Art History, the research project “Exile, Migration and Transfer” at the Center for Advanced Studies in Munich, the Goethe-Institut in Croatia, and the online art-history review journals sehepunkte and lesepunkte. She taught at Hochschule Fresenius/AMD Akademie Mode und Design in Munich. Her research focuses on modern and contemporary art and on the interrelations between fashion design, art, and migration.
