Hannelore Bublitz

Hannelore Bublitz (born 1947) is a German sociologist. From 1995 onward, she was a professor of sociology, general sociology, social sciences, and social philosophy at the University of Paderborn, where she is emerita. She also served as spokesperson for the university’s research training group “Automatisms.” Her research focuses on analyses of postmodern and late-modern societies and subjects, technologies of self-management and normalization, and technologies of the body and gender.
