Hanna Jansen

Hanna Jansen, born in 1946, worked as a teacher and in teacher training, acted in theater, and led literary workshops. She wrote numerous books for children and young adults, many of which were translated and received awards. Her works include *Über tausend Hügel wandere ich mit dir*, *Herzsteine*, *Linus im Glück*, *Maxima und ich*, and *Zeit der Krabben*. Together with her husband, she welcomed numerous children from around the world into their family; this experience provided inspiration for many of her books.
