Gloria Steinem

Gloria Steinem, born in 1934 in Toledo, Ohio, is an American journalist, feminist, women’s rights activist, and writer. She began her journalistic career with an article about a three-week experiment working as a Playboy Bunny in New York. In 1971, she founded the feminist magazine Ms. and went on to advocate for women’s equality for decades. As a political activist and feminist organizer, she also addressed issues of peace and justice.
