Gitta Martens

Gitta Martens (born 1950) studied political science, theatre studies, German literature and philosophy. She completed her studies with a diploma in political science and the first and second state examinations for secondary education, and also qualified as a psychodrama leader. Since 1971, she worked with children and young people in theatre, youth work, youth counselling and political education. Her main professional role was training theatre educators and theatre therapists at the Federal and State Academy in Remscheid. She has worked as an author, speaker and director, writing poetry, short stories and theatre dialogues.
