Gill Johnson

Gill Johnson is a teacher and trainer of English as a foreign language. After completing the CELTA, she began her career teaching English to foreign inmates in a prison. She later worked at International House Hastings, where she became interested in humanistic methodology and trained as a CELTA trainer. From 1994, she worked for Pilgrims, collaborating there with Mario Rinvolucri and others. Johnson and Rinvolucri co-authored “Culture in Our Classrooms.” Her professional experience also included teaching French and English at an international boarding school and managing a language department. She was additionally involved in teacher-training programmes, CELTA courses and conferences.
