Gerlinde Wiencirz

After finishing school, Gerlinde Wiencirz trained at the Bouvier university bookstore in Bonn and later qualified as a specialist bookseller for law and medicine. She went on to manage the children’s and young people’s bookstore “Der kleine Laden,” where she discovered her passion for picture books. She subsequently worked as a freelance editor, undertook translation assignments, and turned to writing, which eventually became her main profession.
