Gerhard Gnauck (born 1964) is a German journalist and historian. In 1999, he became a correspondent for the newspaper Die Welt in Poland. He researched the years Marcel Reich-Ranicki spent in Poland. At his suggestion, the Gawin family, who had sheltered Reich-Ranicki and his wife, was recognized by Yad Vashem as “Righteous Among the Nations.”
