Gareth Stedman Jones

Gareth Stedman Jones, born in 1942, studied history at Oxford and taught political science at King’s College there for nearly 20 years. From 1964 to 1981, he was co-editor of the journal New Left Review. He later served as Professor of the History of Ideas at Queen Mary University of London and as director of the Centre for History and Economics at the University of Cambridge.
