Gard Sveen

Born in 1969, Gard Sveen is a Norwegian political scientist who worked for many years as a senior adviser at Norway’s Ministry of Defence before turning to writing. His debut novel, The Last Pilgrim, the first book in the Tommy Bergmann series, received the Riverton Prize in 2013 and the Glass Key Award in 2014.
