Gaby Funk

Gaby Funk (born 1957) studied German, Romance languages and journalism. She worked as a freelance journalist, author and translator for mountaineering magazines, national newspapers, various periodicals and publishers. Funk is a passionate mountaineer who has travelled widely. At the age of 16, she climbed her first 4,000-metre peaks in the Mont Blanc Massif and subsequently worked in Chamonix for almost two years.
