Gabrielle Filteau-Chiba is an author, translator, and illustrator. She advocated for the protection of Quebec’s wilderness. Her novel *Die Ungezähmten* became a bestseller in Quebec and France and was translated into numerous languages. Her other works include *Bis der Fluss taut* (2022).
