Gabriele Ketterl was born in Munich and studied American Studies and Theatre Studies at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. After numerous stays abroad, including in Los Angeles, London, Edinburgh, Rome, Madrid and the Canary Islands, she began writing short stories. In 2012, she published her first short novel for adults, “Mitternachtsflut,” a literary tribute to Tenerife. Her work also includes children’s books, short stories, fantasy novels and romantic historical fiction.
