Gabriela Scherer

Gabriela Scherer is a literary scholar who was a professor of literary studies and literature education at the Institute of German Studies at the University of Koblenz-Landau, Landau campus. Her research focused on German literature from the eighteenth to the twenty-first century, children’s and young adult literature, picture-book reception, and literature education. Her selected publications include “Bilderbuch und literarästhetische Bildung. Aktuelle Forschungsperspektiven” (2014, co-edited with Volz and Wiprächtiger-Geppert) and “Im Bildungsfokus: Bilderbuchrezeptionsforschung” (2016, co-edited with Volz).
