Gabriel Gerling

Gabriel Gerling completed an apprenticeship in bookselling and studied German, English and history in Cologne, as well as political science, administrative sciences and sociology in Hagen. He worked in a wide range of occupations, including employment agent, bakery salesperson, bookseller, data quality manager, teacher, waiter, copywriter and typographic designer. Alongside these varied jobs, he continued to write throughout his career.
