Frederik Jurk

Frederik Jurk was born in Mainz in 1982 and studied illustration at HAW Hamburg. From 2012 onward, he worked as a freelance illustrator. His work appeared in publications including the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Financial Times Deutschland, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, Die Zeit, Süddeutsche Zeitung, and Die Welt. He also published books and prints with the artists’ group Poste Aerienne. His influences include classic poster design, foreign packaging design, prehistoric cave paintings, vintage consumer electronics, and comics.
