Frank Zuber

Frank Zuber, born in 1963, studied Scandinavian studies, German philology and English studies, including in Frankfurt, Odense and Oslo. He taught for ten years at Goethe University Frankfurt and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and also taught Norwegian for many years. He subsequently worked as a freelance translator from Danish, Swedish and Norwegian. In 2018, he received an award from the Norwegian literary promotion organization NORLA for his translations. Authors whose works he translated into German include Dorthe Nors and Åsne Seierstad.
