Francesco Piccolo was born in Caserta in 1964. His novels include “La separazione del maschio” (2008; German: “Die Trennung des Mannes”) and “Momenti di trascurabile felicità” (2010; German: “Von Glücksmomenten”). His work published in German also includes “Vorbeigeliebt oder Wenn ich wirklich dabei war, hab ich geschlafen” (2000). In addition to his literary work, Piccolo wrote screenplays for film and television.
