Florian Ott

Florian Ott, born in 1978, studied business education in Vienna. During his studies, he helped build an internet start-up and discovered his enjoyment of writing while working on his thesis in knowledge management. While working as a development aid worker in India and during his professional career in the United States, he maintained a weblog on a daily basis. He later worked for a consulting firm and held various expert and management positions in banking. The birth of his first daughter, Anna, prompted him to devote more time to writing. He subsequently worked for an international banking group.
