Fiona Kalkstein

Fiona Kalkstein is a Diplom-Psychologin and earned her doctorate at Freie Universität Berlin. She is deputy director of the Else-Frenkel-Brunswik Institute at Leipzig University and headed its research area for depth hermeneutics and qualitative research. Her academic work has addressed critical psychology, materialist feminism and intersectionality, qualitative research methods, authoritarianism, and the role of the unconscious in resentment. Her dissertation examined the intersections of class and gender in motherhood.
