Fabien Vehlmann

Fabien Vehlmann (born 1972) turned to comics after spending time at a business school in Nantes. In the late 1990s, he began writing scripts for the magazine »Spirou«. His first series, »Green Manor«, was created with artist Denis Bodart. In the following years, Vehlmann worked across a range of genres with artists including Matthieu Bonhomme, Frantz Duchazeau and Bruno Gazzotti. His notable works include »The Marquis of Anaon«, »Alone« (»Seuls«), »The Stone Giants« and several science-fiction, adventure and humorous series. From 2006, he co-wrote several »Spirou and Fantasio« stories with Yoann; in 2010, the two took over the main series.
