Fabian Klose

Fabian Klose is a historian and professor of international history and the history of peace and conflict in the 19th and 20th centuries at the University of Cologne. His habilitation thesis, on which the book *In the Cause of Humanity* is based, was developed as part of his research at the Leibniz Institute of European History in Mainz. In 2018, it received the Carl Erdmann Prize from the German historians’ association.
