Esther Ruelfs

Esther Ruelfs studied art history, philosophy and German studies and earned her doctorate with a dissertation on the photographer Herbert List. In 2012, she assumed responsibility for the photography and new media collection at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg (MK&G), including its curatorial direction. Her publications include *Den Körper aktivieren. Mortifikation und Verlebendigung bei Herbert List* (2015) and *ReVision. Die Sammlung Fotografie im Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg* (2016).
