Erwin Koch (born 1956) studied law in Fribourg. He subsequently worked as an editor at the «Magazin» supplement of Zurich’s «Tages-Anzeiger» and as a freelance journalist for newspapers and magazines throughout the German-speaking world. His journalistic work received numerous awards, including the Egon Erwin Kisch Prize twice.
