Erik Varden

Erik Varden OCSO, born in 1974, is a Norwegian theologian and cleric. He studied theology in Cambridge, Paris and Rome and served as abbot of the English Trappist monastery Mount Saint Bernard Abbey. In 2020, he was appointed bishop or prelate of Trondheim. Varden is also known as a preacher, spiritual director and author.
