Eric Ries developed the Lean Startup method and helped popularize it in the United States. He was a co-founder of the gaming and entertainment network IMVU and wrote the startup blog Startup Lesson Learned. In 2007, BusinessWeek named him one of the best young technology entrepreneurs. In 2010, he served as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Harvard Business School. He also worked as a senior software engineer at There.com and contributed to several books.
