Emmanuel Sfiatkos

Emmanuel Sfiatkos, born in 1977, is an Orthodox theologian and religious education teacher. From 2015 to 2021, he served as chair of the Ecumenical Council of Berlin-Brandenburg. In 2021, he was appointed auxiliary bishop with the title “of Christoupolis” in the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Germany. He has also served as a representative of the Orthodox Bishops’ Conference in Germany to the German federal government and as its delegate to the Association of Christian Churches in Germany.
