Emilia Hart

Emilia Hart is a British-Australian writer. Born in Sydney, she grew up in Australia and studied English literature and law before working as a lawyer in Sydney and London. A stroke at the age of 26 inspired her to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a writer. Her debut novel, *Die Unbändigen*, became a New York Times bestseller and won two Goodreads Choice Awards. Her novel *Unbeugsam wie die See* also became a New York Times and Sunday Times bestseller and was selected as a Good Morning America Book Club pick.
