Emil Fadel

Emil Fadel, born in 1992, studied German literature, film studies and German literary studies at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. His theses focused on the dramatic and journalistic work of the German-Jewish exile writer Ernst Toller. In 2014, his novel manuscript “Schnittblumen machen mich traurig” received the Martha Saalfeld Prize. Fadel also worked as a freelance editor for Frankfurt-based Westend Verlag.
