Elsa Dorlin

Elsa Dorlin, born in 1974, is a French philosopher and feminist theorist. She was a professor of philosophy at Paris 8 University Vincennes-Saint-Denis. Among other distinctions, she received the bronze medal of the French National Centre for Scientific Research. Her book Self-Defense: A Philosophy of Violence received the Frantz Fanon Prize in 2018 and the Prix de l’Écrit Social in 2019.
